Summer greetings from the President of the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter of FEI. We are excited with the line-up of Keynote Speakers and Professional Development Sessions for the 2017-2108 Chapter Programs. We kick-off the year August 15th with a special event as Major League Baseball Commissioner Emeritus Mr. Allan “Bud” Selig is our keynote speaker. We hope given the legendary stature of our speaker, you consider inviting a prospective FEI member as a guest. The luncheon meeting will undoubtedly be a memorable event. 2017 Golf Outing Summary |
Thanks to the efforts of the members and strategic partners we ended up our fiscal year on June 30, 2017, with a net increase of 4 members for a total of 220. During the year they recruited 30 new members plus we had 8 reinstatements and 2 transfer ins. While these numbers are impressive they were offset by 36 terminations. The terminations are primarily members who have not been able to attend our chapter functions. To read the entire Membership Update click here |
Our annual golf
outing was held at Butte des Morts Country Club on June 19th. There
were 60 golfers and 7 additional members and strategic partners joined us for
the social. During the course of the day, we had a brief weather
interruption, and then the weather held off until the last golfer came in off
the course, and just as they walked in, the rain came pouring down. This
burst of showers and lightening delayed the clubhouse from retrieving the
course event cards.

2017 Career Development Workshop Summary |
Thanks go out to Regina Kramer of Winsight Coaching who presented an amazing StrengthsFinder workshop at FVTC’s new Bordini Center on June 27, 2017. Her presentation provided superb insights for those currently happy at where they work as well as those that are investigating alternative career options. Regina did her own due diligence by attending our April 18, 2017 Chapter Meeting to help gain insights and prepare for her presentation. Appreciation is also given for the efforts of Julie Kimps, Mike McNamara and Michelle Weiss for their active contribution in making the event a success. Also, thanks are extended to the 41 folks that signed up to participate along with the 20 survey responses that provided an overall rating of the program at a 4.4/5 with a 4.6 rating for the speaker (note: the worst rating was a 4.1 for beverages – maybe we need to have that open bar at lunch too!)
