As organizations plan to emerge from the impact of COVID-19, they are now preparing for a challenging year for growth while still experiencing major shifts in day-to-day operations. All business functions and departments, in particular internal audit, external audit firms, legal, and compliance, are quickly adapting to shifting priorities which may require operating in non-traditional ways. During this session, Protiviti will lead a discussion on the evolving control environment and how organizations have become more agile in delivering real-time business support.

- Understand the evolving role of business owners and assurance/audit functions (both internal and external) in response to large scale crisis situations.

Our series, "Managing Through COVID-19 – Strategic Guidance for CFOs" focuses on a variety of issues to address the transition from the "new normal" to emerge stronger in the "next normal" – including best practices for proactive actions to not only avoid value erosion but emerge from the crisis structurally, operationally, and financially stronger. Sessions are held two times a month from June to October 2020, and topics to be covered will include:
