Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms | Wipfli | Skyline

Wipfli moves to #4 on Construction Executive’s list of top accounting firms for construction

We’re proud to announce that Wipfli has been named #4 on the list of Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ by Construction Executive magazine. Last year, our firm ranked #5 on the list, which was the award’s inaugural year.

Brian Bohman, construction practice leader at Wipfli, said, “We’re proud to see Wipfli move up a spot in just the second year of this award. It’s a reflection of our firm’s commitment to serving our construction clients with critical solutions that meet the whole of their needs and position them for growth and continued success.”

At Wipfli, we’ve continued to work closely with our construction clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them navigate its effects on their people and finances, as well as helping them respond, recover and revitalize. Bohman was quoted several times in Construction Executive’s July/August issue about the pandemic’s impact on the construction industry and what businesses can do to lessen that impact.

The Department of Health and Humans Services recently announced that health care providers who received more than $750,000 in federal awards from the Provider Relief Funds (PRF) will be subject to a single audit or a program specific audit. This announcement is applicable to almost all nonprofit, for-profit, and governmental health care providers who received payments from the PRF or received reimbursement from the Health and Human Services (HHS) uninsured fund created by the CARES Act.

CLA does more single audits than any other firm in the country and is well-positioned to address your questions. Join us for a complimentary webinar that will cover concerns we’ve been hearing, including:

    • PRF audit considerations
    • Audit and reporting options
    • Single audit and program audit requirements

This session is designed for finance personnel of health care organizations and those involved with meeting the organizational compliance requirements associated with the use of the Provider Relief payments.

There has been understandable confusion about how to account for forgivable loan proceeds under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). At first blush, the accounting may seem cut and dry, however, as with much of the PPP loan program, the details make it much more complicated.

This complimentary webinar is designed to answer questions about how nonprofits should properly account for PPP funds. We will briefly discuss the proper accounting and then address questions you have about the program, and how it impacts federal funding programs, grants, and contributions. In addition, we will provide a brief update on other federal programs that can provide cash flow and liquidity to nonprofits after PPP funds are fully expended.

    Who should attend
This session is designed for nonprofit finance personnel.
