July/August 2015

President's Message

Summer has arrived in Northeastern Wisconsin, the month of July is coming to a close, and the start of school and pre-season football are right around the corner. July 1st marked the beginning of our Chapter’s 2015-2016 fiscal year, which means a new Board of Directors and Executive Committee Team. We have been working on the FEI programs for our 2015-16 year and I am happy to report keynote speakers for 6 of our 7 chapter meetings have been finalized. We will send our program line up shortly.

Michelle Weiss has done a great job of getting her hands around the Chapter Administrator position with her first year on the job. She had big shoes to fill when Patti Ayala tendered her resignation after more than 12 years of service. Michelle will play an integral role in the success of our Chapter for years to come. We also want to thank Jim Kiekhaefer for all his efforts and knowledge in leading the Chapter this past year.

We are continually trying to raise the bar as far as our Chapter programming is concerned. Howard Bornstein and Greg Williams have been meeting with our Strategic Partners and brainstorming on how we can continue to work together to bring improved and increased value to our program sessions. I want to personally thank the Strategic Partners for their time, input and involvement in those meetings.

At our August Board Meeting we will approve our fiscal budget and also prioritize the initiatives from our Strategic Plan for implementation in the 2015-16 fiscal year.

I am very excited about the new chapter year and look forward to your involvement in our upcoming programs.

2015 - 2016 Chapter President
